Description
Box containing the first 2 volumes of the series.Volume 1: The story of a Burgundian terroir covered with forests and a mysterious bottle that could make it come back to life... As the owner of a domain, Manu has an obsession, just like his father before him: to make a great wine. That's why he rents the plot of land at Clos de la Molle Pierre, convinced that a great terroir has been forgotten on this hill in Cruzille, in the Mâconnais region. Today, Manu's dream takes shape, the vineyard is for sale. It is then that a friend of Manu finds a batch of old unlabeled bottles, except for a beautiful unknown one born in 1959. When tasted, Manu is overwhelmed with emotion. It's the greatest wine he has ever tasted. Manu has a revelation that turns into an obsession: he must find out what that bottle was! With the grapevines that produced this miracle, he wants to replant Molle Pierre, in honor of his late father. Thus begins more than an investigation, a vital quest... Volume 2: Giving birth to an exceptional wine is a family affair. In the Mâconnais region, the three Jaffres brothers struggle to keep the estate created by their father afloat. But another setback is about to hit the production: cicadas have infested the vines. A prefectural order forces the brothers to destroy a third of the plots! A third of the estate, three brothers, the equation is simple: one brother must leave. Unable to agree, it is their mother who has the painful task of deciding which of her sons should leave the farm. Heartbroken, she writes a name on a piece of paper in an envelope.
