Description
After a cocktail at the prestigious Château Margaux, Benjamin Cooker's daughter and the dashing Alexandre Rinetti, the new director of Gayraud Valrose, are seriously injured in a car accident. The investigation reveals that the car was sabotaged. Cooker conducts his own investigations amidst the nostalgic scents of his youth, which unfolded in the shadow of the mythical Château Margaux. Memories can have a bitter taste if one is caught up in their past. Corbeyran and Sandro adapt into comics the successful novels by Jean-Pierre Alaux and Noël Balen (adapted into a TV series on France 3 with Pierre Arditi in the lead role), offering flavorful intrigues in the dark twists of the wine industry. Each album forms a self-contained investigation.
