Description
Let's immerse ourselves in the world of Edgar R Jacobs. Let's meet Captain Blake and Professor Mortimer and savor the oh-so-British cocktails directly inspired by their adventures. At the Centaur Club - where our heroes are members - let's taste the classic cocktails of old England. For the aperitif, let's toast like the sailors of Her Gracious Majesty with a pink gin in the style of Francis Blake, and after dinner, let's enjoy an After Eight with flavors of mint and chocolate. Next, let's discover the original and spectacular creations inspired by the albums. The Path of the Initiate, glittering with gold, leads to the heart of the grand pyramid where the Crocodile of Horus lurks with its beautiful plum robe. The Mega Wave, with its unsettling cloud of smoke, could have sprung from the evil neurons of Professor Septimus in The Yellow Mark. With Francis Blake, director of the British MI-5, and Philip Mortimer, a genius scientist, the adventure rarely knows any respite. Except for the time for a glass of sherry, Sir Francis's favorite drink, or a whisky that Mortimer sips echoing his Scottish origins. Liquids change from blue to yellow under black light. A pink iceberg sinks into a cloud of bubbles. With tips and a few utensils, easily recreate our most explosive cocktails. With the 30 terribly British drinks from Blake and Mortimer, let's experience the adventure without leaving the bar. Cheers - to your health!
