Champagne Blanc de Blancs Extra-Brut "Quintette" House JM Sélèque
LA MAISON de Champagne JM Sélèque began in the 1960s when Henri Sélèque planted vines on the renowned terroirs of Moussy and Pierry, and bottled in his name in 1969. Richard, his son, an oenologist, brought the property into the era of modernity and technical precision, while expanding the family wine heritage. Since 2008, Jean-Marc, the third generation, a follower of a culture closer to natural balances, anchors his production in the search for authenticity and expression of the terroirs.
de la maison JM Sélèque's Blanc de Blancs Extra-Brut "Quintette" Champagne is an exceptional cuvée that comes from five terroirs of the Marne Valley and the Côte des Blancs, including Epernay, Mardeuil, Vertus, Dizy and Pierry. This 100% Chardonnay cuvée is the result of a blend of 60% ageing in oak barrels without malolactic fermentation and 40% in stainless steel vats with malolactic fermentation. This champagne also incorporates 20% reserve wines and then ages on lees for 36 to 48 months, which gives it great richness and complexity. Classified as extra-Brut with a low dosage of 2g/L, this highlights the purity and finesse of the terroirs. A true work of art for Champagne lovers.
