Domaine Raquillet, rooted in a winemaking tradition passed down from generation to generation for eleven generations, embodies the very essence of excellence in wine production. François Raquillet, heir to this prestigious lineage, began his career in the family vineyard alongside his father in 1984. In 1990, with his wife Emmanuelle, he took over the reins of the estate, marking the beginning of a new era characterized by bold innovations.

From the very beginning, François Raquillet breathed new life into the estate's work philosophy. Aware of the importance of quality over quantity, he significantly reduced yields, thus favouring a more artisanal approach that was respectful of the vine. The introduction of premium barrels is a testament to its commitment to excellence, helping to enhance the estate's already prestigious reputation. Stretching over fourteen hectares of privileged land in the heart of the Côte Chalonnaise, Domaine Raquillet stands out for its diversity of wines, subtly combining tradition and innovation. This diverse range, including both white and red wines, reflects the Raquillet family's passion and dedication to the art of winemaking.

Since 2018, the arrival of their daughter Jeanne marks a new stage in the history of the estate, infusing new energy and vision, while perpetuating the ancestral values of the family. True to its commitment to quality and respect for the environment, Domaine Raquillet practices sustainable viticulture, taking care to preserve the fragile balance between the land and the vine. With an area of fourteen hectares, including three and a half hectares in Premier Cru, the estate maintains ma yields, thus promoting the optimal development of the grapes. A high planting density, at a rate of 10,000 vines per hectare, favours competition between the vines, resulting in bunches of grapes of superior quality, rich in flavours and aromas.
