Founded in 2009, Atelier Cartographik is a creative studio at the intersection of illustration, graphic design and cartography.

Located between Bordeaux and La Rochelle, L'Atelier creates visual identities, illustrations, maps and exhibition scenographies.

An elastic studio, the team led by Alexandre Verhille and Sarah Tavernier adapts to any scale of project according to demand. They work for la presse, publishing, public and private institutions, cultural events...

In close collaboration with loyal national and international customers, L'Atelier Cartographik is published in Le Monde, Lonely Planet, Editions Milan, De la martinière, Gestalten... His publications are regularly translated into several languages.

Specialized in maps for more than 10 years, the studio also evolves in national communication campaigns for the Ministry of Culture, the French Development Agency, natural parks, tourism development agencies, Tourist Offices... The complementarity of the team, the diversity of projects and the adaptability of the studio allow the implementation of innovative graphic solutions for each project.
