Côtes du Jura Blanc "Savagnin Aux Bois" 2021 | Wine from Domaine des Marnes Blanches
In the heart of the South Revermont, between Cesancey, Vincelles, and Sainte-Agnès, lie the 10 hectares of Domaine des Marnes Blanches. Managed since 2006 by Pauline and Géraud Fromont, young graduates in oenology, this Jura estate stands out for its commitment to organic farming and minimalist winemaking. The diversity of soils and dedication to regional grape varieties are at the core of their approach, ensuring authentic wines that respect the terroir.
The Côtes du Jura Blanc "Savagnin Aux Bois" 2021 from Domaine des Marnes Blanches is a wine made from 35-year-old vines on clay-limestone soil. Hand-harvested, it is vinified and aged for ten months. This wine displays a golden color and reveals aromas of dried fruits and citrus on the nose, confirmed on the palate with notes of hazelnut and apricot. It pairs perfectly with veal and fish. Serve at 11°C, with an aging potential of 4 to 6 years.
