Description

This is an opportunity to give voice to those who make the wines we love, freely and without taboos.
Fifteen winemakers from Burgundy speak with total transparency about their choices, methods, and terroir.
It represents a year of work in the vineyards and cellars.
It consists of 252 pages of text and images highlighting the four seasons.
It's a book for wine lovers, but also for those who enjoy meeting passionate artisans.
Far from the star system and conventional speeches, here is the story of 15 winemakers' lives. Through these diverse profiles, they reveal their views on the profession without holding back.

We've chosen to settle in Burgundy, in this historic wine region, which faces strong economic pressure and encompasses all the commercial, environmental, and ethical issues currently shaking the French and global vineyards.

As producers of their raw material, transformers, and distributors, and in direct contact with the final consumer, winemakers are now best placed to assess, judge, and evolve this system.

These fifteen artisans have chosen different paths of viticulture and winemaking, but all share the honesty in expressing their choices, whatever they may be, and prioritize the quality of terroir wines over trendy wines.

"There is a true sense of authorship in Burgundy wines," Cédric Klapisch introduces in the preface.

These artisans are followed throughout the 252 pages. Through unfiltered, unrestrained conversations, the authors interview the winemakers, inviting the reader to share the pleasure of these exchanges. With occasional author interventions clarifying data or commenting on the received confidences, the immersion is complete.

"Entre les Vignes" is more than just a narrative; it's a platform for the winemakers.

Without censorship, without taboos, they share a bit of everything and indulge in confiding. Through 15 distinct, unconventional, never smooth portraits, the winemakers immerse us in their often initiatory journeys and speak with total transparency about their choices.
