Murielle Andraud and Jean-Luc Thunevin | Gilles Berdin

After working in various professions, the art of making great wines was revealed to Jean-Luc Thunevin and Murielle Andraud when they tasted an exceptional Pomerol. From that moment on, they decided to embark on the adventure of creating majestic wines by giving the utmost care to the vineyard and vinification. Originating from low yields, hand-destemmed, and vinified with Burgundian techniques, the first "garage wine" was born. Over two decades, they managed to elevate Valandraud to the ranks of the greatest wines, culminating in 2012 with its classification as a Premier Grand Cru of Saint-Émilion. Thus, they share an extraordinary story here in the company of Gilles Berdin.
