Nothing predestined Patricia Ortelli, a former student of the École du Louvre, to become a winemaker. However, at 30 years old, she left behind ancient Greece and acquired a vineyard lost in the heart of the Provençal hills, almost abandoned: the domaine de la Calisse, now renowned. She trained in viticulture and oenology and, determined, she drained, leveled, and replanted. A trailblazer, she indeed decided that her wines would be in total symbiosis with nature: in this corner of Provence à la Pagnol, she will be one of the first to work entirely in organic agriculture. "I live with my vine, I live for her, her sap flows in my veins, nothing can separate us." - Patricia Ortelli
