AUTHOR'S NOTE Dear collector friends, I am pleased to present to you this 2018 directory. with a big change this year. This one does not include the number 14, but is called Directory of Champagne Muselet Caps "Volume 1". As usual, it gathers all the muselet caps that have been published since the first edition until those known until the middle of 2017, which will now serve as the base directory (without the so-called "generic" muselet caps, as since last May another directory is exclusively dedicated to them) Why the name Volume 1? Because given the incessant number of novelties, it becomes impossible to gather everything in a single volume. What's the interest? The answer is simple: To allow us, collectors, to no longer have to reorganize our entire collection every two years, and most importantly, the most tedious part, to integrate them in the order of the directory that was previously released on that date. From now on, a directory will be published every year, mentioning the new muselet caps released during the year. With the release of a new directory, it will include the muselet caps from the previous directory, until eventually forming a Volume 2 which will gather, over time, all the muselet caps published after Volume 1.
