Description
Flowery Red Wine "The Joy of the Palace" 2016 Domaine Lafarge-Vial
Rich in the experience and knowledge acquired on the family estate of Volnay, Chantal, Frédéric and their daughter Clotilde decided in 2014 to embark on the Beaujolais adventure, with the acquisition of old vines in Fleurie which were cultivated organically and were converted to biodynamics, the soils are ploughed with horses, the vines pruned in goblet and cellar, The Burgundian method has been adapted to Gamay to produce wines that are dense and seductive in their typicity and accessibility.
This 2016 Fleurie "La joie du palais" from Domaine Lafarge-Vial has a beautiful intense vermilion colour with mauve reflections, the nose is a real explosion of fruit (raspberry, cherry) and flowers (violet, iris, rose), the palate has a lively, frank attack in the middle of the palate tasty and round with consistency, the fine tannins and the hint of acidity associated with this aromatic presence make it a real treat.
