Following Tomine's mother's advice, Shizuku decides to delve into her father's past - and to do so, she participates in the Médoc marathon, which he once ran with him. Once in Bordeaux, she meets old acquaintances and many buried memories. As the marathon takes her to visit numerous cellars and castles, from Saint Julien to Pauillac and even Saint-Estèphe, Shizuku realizes that she was wrong when she claimed that her father had never talked to her about wine.
