Description
In the year 1717, following a stay in France by Tsar Peter the Great, the court offered him a wine from the finest vintages of the time, the "Clos de Vougeot." This wine was transported to Saint Petersburg. Nicolas Robinet, an ancestor of the writer, was part of the expedition as a carter. It is this fabulous journey to the East that Jean Robinet offers us.
