A millionaire architect who started from nothing, Céline Wachowski has her own series on Netflix and contracts all over the world. A muse of modernity, she is convinced that she brings beauty to the world.

But now, her most ambitious project is stopped dead in her tracks by a controversy: accused of promoting gentrification, she sees her strategy and working methods condemned. Within a few days, she is fired from her own company, and begins a journey through the desert that leads her to a meditation on guilt.

When the elite lose their footing, what narrative do they devise to justify their privileges and establish their place in a world whose rules they themselves have established?

Kevin Lambert is 30 years old, and grew up in Chicoutimi, Canada. Holder of a doctorate in creative writing, very involved in the Quebec art scene, he has been a bookseller and participates in the magazines Liberté and Spirale, as well as several Radio-Canada programs.
